Let’s keep things simple as 2024 comes to an end. There is a lot going on in the world right now, not to mention the end of year festivities. There are gifts to buy or make, meals to plan, maybe travel ahead and parties to go to.
If you are considering what to wear as you venture out, I have a suggestion for you. My proposal is or should be a staple for any wardrobe. It is versatile and innately elegant, subtle or festive, and machine washable. Little is more subversively chic than a rumbled right out of the dryer formal men’s cotton shirt. Of course there is the traditional crisp and pressed even starched option once de rigueur for nightly dinners of the well-to-do. And now less frequently for black tie affairs.
